Vermin Supreme – Concord, NH

Satirical presidential candidate Vermin Supreme arrives to officially file his candidacy in the 2016 New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary in the Secretary of State’s office in the New Hampshire State House in Concord, New Hampshire. Supreme filed on the same day as Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson, for whom most of the media assembled in the room was waiting. Supreme paid the $1000 filing fee in cash, including both large and small bills. Before handing the money over, Supreme had an assistant from Stamp Stampede stamp each bill with a message that the money is not to be used to bribe politicians. Supreme pledged to fight ISIS with bombs filled with ponies and suggested he would appoint Ben Carson as his Surgeon General to head efforts to cure zombie disease in case of the zombie apocalypse. Supreme has been on the New Hampshire primary ballot in 2008 and 2012, though he has began running for president in 1992.
